Set to sign a two-year contract in August 2010, when his current contract at Gillingham expires. Naturally left footed, Tom can play at left back or in central defence.

Wynter joined the Gillingham youth system at Under-15 level and progressed through the ranks before earning a professional contract for the 2008/09 season.

Tom featured as a substitute for Gills at the end of the 2009/2010 season, having been a regular fixture for the reserves.

The athletic defender played for Whites on loan at the end of 2009, enjoying a successful spell at left back. He has also covered at centre back.
