Rob Gillman signed for Dover Athletic in July 2010 from Bromley, where he was club captain.

The strong centre back made more than 40 appearances for Bromley in 2009/10, scoring five goals. He made nearly 92 appearances for the Kent club.

Rob started his career at Luton as a trainee and his more recent clubs include Bishop's Stortford, where he was named player of the year, and Ashford Town (Kent).

Rob was named Bromley's man of the match in an eventful 2-2 draw against Whites at Hayes Lane in December 2009, scoring the opening goal from a set piece.
