*BS*SIMON KERSLEY DAVIS, a long-standing Dover Athletic supporter, was killed in a motoring accident on Boxing Day evening near his home in Swingate.

*BF*He attended our game at Hastings and only last week made a passionate plea for our supporters to rally around the club on a fans’ internet forum following a poor run of results.

Simon, well-known to most of our supporters and who called himself “Celery”, leaves behind wife Zoe, two young children – and a lot of friends. He was aged 39. Everyone involved with Dover Athletic send their condolences to his family at this very sad time.
