MOORE IN AT DOVER

MOORE IN AT DOVER

DOVER have bolstered their midfield ranks with the loan signing of Leyton Orient’s Sammy Moore.

Moore, who is here until January, will go straight into the squad to face Barrow at Crabble on Saturday.

The 28-year-old Deal-born Moore needs no introduction to Whites fans, spending two years with the club between 2008 and 2010.

He scored 11 goals in 56 appearances before joining AFC Wimbledon.
Moore spent five seasons with the Dons, helping them earn promotion from the Conference Premier.

While there, Moore made over 150 appearances and won the Player of the Year award in the 2011-12 season. He signed for League Two Orient in June 2015 and has made almost 30 appearances, scoring twice.

Moore made a recent appearance at Crabble, coming on as a second half substitute in the Orient’s 2-0 defeat in the pre-season friendly against Chris Kinnear’s side last month. Moore came through the youth ranks at Ipswich Town and during his time with the Tractor Boys spent a period on loan at Brentford.

He joined then Conference Premier side Stevenage Borough in 2008, before linking up with Dover.

Welcome back, Sammy!
