*BS*The club are pleased to announce that our home fixture against Cheltenham Town next month has been selected for live television coverage by BT Sport. The match has been rescheduled for Sunday January 24th, with kick-off at 12.15pm.*BF*
This will be the fourth time that Whites have been televised in recent seasons, and we have been at home each time – previously against Barnet, Crystal Palace and then Woking back in September.
At the time of writing, Gary Johnson’s men are top of the Vanarama National League, with a four point lead over Forest Green Rovers, and sit seven ahead of Dover Athletic.
In the reverse fixture, three months ago, The Robins came out 3-2 winners, with Billy Waters scoring the winner after Whites raced into a 2-0 lead before suffering the dismissal of Stefan Payne, which changed the game.
Originally scheduled for Saturday January 23rd, the fixture has been moved back a day to accommodate the television coverage, and we look forward to welcoming the BT Sport cameras back to Crabble in just over a month’s time.
