PREVIEW: WHITES VS CAMBRIDGE UNITED

DOVERƒ??S Emirates FA Cup campaign continues at Crabble on Thursday with the first round replay clash against League Two Cambridge United at 7.45pm.

The first game between the sides ended 1-1 at the Cambs Glass Stadium on November 5th.

The Uƒ??s led 1-0 at half-time before Ricky Miller equalised eight minutes from time.

A home tie against League One side and former FA Cup winners Coventry City on December 4 is the carrot for tonightƒ??s victors.

But Dover boss Chris Kinnear is not looking that far ahead.

He said: ƒ??I have never been one to think about what be and I am not about to change.

ƒ??Our focus is only on playing Cambridge and nothing else matters.

ƒ??We take it game by game and thatƒ??s the way we always will.ƒ?

As for the game, which will be played live on BT Sport, Kinnear says his side wonƒ??t be doing anything different to normal.

He said: ƒ??We may be playing a Football League team and doing on live TV, but our preparation and the way we approach it wonƒ??t be any different any other game we play.

ƒ??Weƒ??ll be going all out to win, something we do in every game regardless of who we are playing against.ƒ?

*BS*WHAT IS CAMBRIDGE BOSS SHAUN DERRY SAYING?*BF*

He told the Cambridge News that he felt it would be an intriguing game as both sides knew what the other was all about from their first meeting.

But he is optimistic United, who will still be without Joe Pigott due to concussion, can build on their display from last Saturdayƒ??s 3-1 win at Crawley in Sky Bet League Two.

Derry said: ƒ??Itƒ??s one thing going to watch Dover in the flesh and watching all the videos, but itƒ??s only when you come up against certain players that you realise just what they can produce and itƒ??s the flip side for both teams.

ƒ??Weƒ??ve both had a look at each other, weƒ??ve both sussed each other out and theyƒ??d have gone back and looked at all the positives they produced last Saturday (a 3-2 win at Solihull) and weƒ??ve done the same.

ƒ??Itƒ??s a different type of game. Weƒ??re away from home, the expectation level is on their shoulders to produce a performance as well, but we just need to concentrate on what we do.

ƒ??We want to go through to round two. Itƒ??s a great proposition, Coventry at home for whoever gets through this round.

ƒ??Everyone looks for a banana skin and we have to make sure weƒ??re not one of them.ƒ?
