Whites make the short trip to Hayes Lane on Tuesday night aiming to bounce back from an opening day defeat.
Chris Kinnear’s men lost by a single goal in their National League opener at home to Wrexham on Saturday and will hope they can achieve a result they were unable to last campaign.
Dover and Bromley played eachother four times last season, with Athletic losing and drawing twice in those matches.
Neil Smith’s Bromley will also be aiming to recover from their own disappointing start to the season following a 2-1 defeat at Fylde.
Jordan Higgs’ fine second half finish cancelled out Andy Bond’s earlier tap-in. However Danny Rowe’s winner 20 minutes from time handed Dave Challinor’s side the three points.
WHAT THE GAFFERS SAY
DOVER BOSS CHRIS KINNEAR
“Obviously we will look at how we did against Wrexham and also how Bromley did. We will be in for training Monday to prepare for Tuesday night.
“Saturday was part of our learning process, especially with so many young lads on the pitch. Hopefully the players have learnt from the last game and we can get a result at Bromley.”
BROMLEY BOSS NEIL SMITH
“We know what we did wrong against Fylde and we will look to put that right on Tuesday night. Dover will be a difficult game, they are strong and direct and there are no surprises about we are coming into.
“But we will prepare for the game as normal and with our home crowd behind us, hopefully we can get our first win of the season.”
BROMLEY PLAYER TO WATCH
Roger Johnson brings a lot of experience to the Bromley defence. The 35-year-old played 107 Premier League games for Birmingham, Wolves and West Ham.
