Dover Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Omar Mussa.

The former Belgium under-19 international will wear the number 23 shirt and goes straight into the squad for Tuesday’s National League clash against Eastleigh at Crabble.

The 20-year-old has already played in England, spending six months with League One Walsall in 2019, making his league debut against Scunthorpe United a couple of weeks after joining from Belgian First Division A side KV Mechelen in the January transfer window.

He was signed by now Wrexham manager Dean Keates when he was in charge of the Saddlers.

Omar, who played one pre-season game for Andy Hesentahler’s team before returning home, came up through the ranks at Mechelen and has been capped at under-16 to under 19 levels for his country.
