Dover Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of defender John Oyenuga ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The experienced full-back returns to Crabble having previously enjoyed a successful spell with the Whites during the 2023/24 campaign, where he made 38 National League South appearances and was voted the club’s Player of the Season.

Now 31, Oyenuga brings a wealth of experience at this level, having represented clubs including Walton & Hersham, Westfield, Connah’s Quay Nomads, Eastleigh, Hendon, Enfield Town and Farnborough.

In 24/25 he played his part in helping Enfield Town secure National League South survival before returning to Farnborough for the 2025/26 campaign.

A pacey, reliable and committed full-back, Oyenuga is well known to supporters for his energy, consistency and positive character both on and off the pitch. During his time at Farnborough, he became a firm favourite with the Boro faithful, helping the club to promotions in 2015/16 and 2021/22 and winning their Supporters’ Player of the Season award in 2021/22.
