Announcing New Partnership with Chislehurst Glebe FC

Dover Athletic Football Club is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Chislehurst Glebe Football Club as the Whites embark on their first season back in the National League South.

The link-up will see the Whites utilising Foxbury Avenue, the Southern Counties East Football League side’s highly impressive home, as one of the club’s official training venues for the forthcoming season.

Foxbury Avenue is currently undergoing £1.3m worth of ground improvements with a newly installed 3G artificial playing surface and a 350-seater stand within the 1,500 capacity stadium in Chislehurst.

In addition to the state-of-the-art pitch, the Whites will also benefit from the club’s meeting spaces for pre and post-match analysis, as well as other on-site facilities including a new-look gym if needed.

This is a huge boost to the Whites’ management and players having not had a permanent home for Thursday evening training throughout last season’s Isthmian Premier play-off winning campaign.

Whites manager Jake Leberl said: “We’re delighted to announce a new partnership with Chislehurst Glebe, which will see us using their brand-new 4G facility on Thursday evenings as part of our preparation for Saturday matchdays. A big thank you to Chislehurst Glebe and Rocky McMillan for making this possible. We look forward to building a strong relationship that benefits both clubs going forward.”

The new partnership could see the Whites’ talented young players making temporary moves to Foxbury Avenue to gain vital first-team experience. The club may also help guide Chislehurst Glebe’s high performers in making the step up the pyramid in the future.

Chislehurst Glebe chairman Rocky McMillan commented: “I’m thrilled to enter into a partnership agreement with Dover Athletic FC. Importantly both sets of management know and have high respect for each other. We will be given the first opportunity to look at exciting young talent needing to develop their game whilst Dover have a first-class facility as a training base. This is a win-win deal for both sides and the future is really exciting.”

Dover Athletic Physio Hailed a Hero in Barcelona

Dover Athletic’s Academy tour to the Copa Catalunya Cup in Barcelona took an unexpected turn this week when club physio Will Narramore stepped in to assist during a medical emergency.

Will, who was watching a match as a spectator on Monday, sprang into action when a young player from Italian side NAGC Sardegna collapsed. With no medical staff immediately on hand, Will’s calm and professional response ensured the player received vital care until emergency services arrived.

The two teams weren’t due to meet in the tournament until later in the week, but when they finally faced each other on Wednesday, gratitude was in the air. Sardegna players, coaches and the player’s family rushed to thank Will before kick-off, showering him with hugs and praise.

The Sardinian team have expressed their deep appreciation and intend to share the story in their local press, recognising Will’s quick thinking and compassion.

The entire Dover Athletic family is proud of Will and the way he represented the club — not just in football, but in character.

Joe Tennent Signs for 25/26

Dover Athletic Football Club are delighted to announce that defender Joe Tennent has agreed terms to remain at the Megger Community Stadium for the 2025/26 season.

Tennent made thirty two appearances for Three Bridges in 22/23, after returning to the club for a second spell. He moved back to Jubilee Field after starting the campaign with VCD Athletic, where he played ten times. He was with Whitehawk during the 23/24 campaign and was named as Whitehawk Managers’ Player of the Season before joining The Whites. Last season he made 36 appearances in all competitions for Dover, with a brief spell back on loan at Whitehawk.

Jake Leberl has said:

We’re delighted that JT is returning for a second season with us. Like many others, he played a big part in our success last year. He’s a calming presence in the squad and someone you can rely on to deliver consistent performances week in, week out. We’re looking forward to the next challenge together – JT fully deserves the opportunity to test himself at the next level, facing some extremely talented forwards, and we know he’ll relish it.

Francis Mampolo Signs for 25/26

Dover Athletic Football Club are delighted to announce that forward Francis Mampolo has agreed terms to remain at the Megger Community Stadium for the 2025/26 season.

A product of the Elite Coaching Academy, he has played for Newcastle U-23s and clubs like Biggleswade Town. After joining Tonbridge Angels in 2023, the versatile 22-year-old made 24 appearances and had loan spells at clubs including Chatham Town and Folkestone Invicta. He made 37 appearances in all competitions last season for Dover and was named in the Baller League Team of the Season 2025.

Jake Leberl has said:

We’re delighted that Francis Mampolo has agreed to return for another season. He had a slightly frustrating end to last campaign after dropping out of the starting eleven. In all my years, I can’t recall working with such a naturally gifted player – his ability, balance, strength and skill are breathtaking at times, as we’ve seen both in training and in Baller League. The challenge now is to deliver that consistently week in, week out, and to improve his end product in terms of goals and assists. If he can do that, Francis has an incredible opportunity ahead of him. He’s got all the attributes – and that infectious smile – and I know I’m not the only one looking forward to watching him entertain us this season.

Welcome Max Fiddes

Dover Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Max Fiddes ahead of the 2025/26 season.

19 year old forward Max came through the youth setup at Reading before making a move to Southend United, where he played Under 18 football and had a loan spell at East Thurrock United. Last season he spent time in Scotland, playing for Queens Park. Max joined us for our Kent Senior Cup game against Welling before joining Bowers & Pitsea for the remainder of the season.

Jake Leberl has said:

We’re delighted to announce that Max Fiddes has agreed to join us for the upcoming season. Max is no stranger to the club, having trained with us and featured in the Kent Senior Cup against Welling last year. To gain more experience, he spent the end of last season with Bowers, where he earned valuable minutes and acquitted himself very well. He’s an extremely talented player who fits perfectly with our culture and ethos. Max is hungry to succeed and determined to go far in the game. We’re really looking forward to being part of his journey.

Welcome to Crabble, Max!

Welcome Henry Lukombo

Dover Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of defender Henry Lukombo ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Henry came through the ranks at Billericay, making his debut aged 17. He signed for Sittingbourne last season and made 46 appearances as part of their incredible campaign. The 22 year old was a key part of the defence that kept 23 clean sheets and progressed to the FA Trophy Quarter Final.

Jake Leberl has said:

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Henry Lukombo — a player who first caught our eye during the Sittingbourne Cup games last season and went on to play a key role in their impressive campaign. Henry fits the ethos of what we’re building here. He’s a strong, athletic player with a great character who can play across the back line as well as in midfield. Like us, he’s hungry to progress, and we’re confident he’ll settle in well and be a great addition to the squad.

Welcome to Crabble, Henry!

Welcome Kenny Coker

Dover Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of striker Kenny Coker ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Forward Kenny played for Bowers and Pitsea and Billericay Town in his early youth, before making the step up to Southend United. He played Under 18 football for the Shrimpers and made a brief first team breakthrough before making a move to Norwich City, and was an Under 18 and Under 21 player for the Canaries.

He spent time with Chelmsford City on loan before joining Cray Wanderers last summer. He made thirty three appearances for the Wands and scored six goals. He spent the remainder of the season with Cheshunt scoring 5 goals in 10 appearances.

Jake Leberl has said:

We’re delighted that Kenny has chosen to join us. He’s a traditional No. 9 with all the attributes you’d want — he can hold the ball up, win headers, run the channels, and score goals. He has good pedigree and fits our ethos as someone hungry to get back into full-time football. With interest from several other clubs, we’re absolutely thrilled he’s signed with us.

Welcome to Crabble, Kenny!
