CURRY ON THE MENU

Bookings are now being taken for our two-course curry night in the VIP Platinum Suite for next Tuesday’s (January 25th) National League game against Eastleigh at Crabble.

This package costs £20 (plus the price of a matchday ticket for any non-season ticket holders) and on the menu will be chicken curry with rice and naan bread followed by apple tart and custard.

A vegetarian curry will also be available.

The experience includes:

  • Butler hosted lounge with large TVs and projector showing the game

  • A two-course meal served at your table

  • Reserved undercover premium padded seating

  • Complimentary tea, coffee & mineral water, plus dedicated paid bar before and after the match

  • Complimentary matchday team sheet

Arrival at the ground should be at 6.15 pm and food will be served at  6.45pm.

There are only 64 spaces available, so all tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

The dress code is smart casual.

Andy Hessenthaler will be back in the dugout on Saturday when his side travels to Middlesex for the National League clash against Wealdstone after isolating last week following his positive test for Covid-19.

GILLS LOANEE STAYING

Dover Athletic is delighted to confirm midfielder Henry Woods’ loan spell with the club from Gillingham has been extended until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old has made 21 appearances in all competitions for Andy Hessenthaler’s side, scoring once, since arriving from the League 1 club last July.

STOCKPORT TICKETS ON SALE

Stockport County has advised that tickets for our National League game at Edgeley Park on February 5th (3pm) are now on sale.

It’s an all-ticketed game, so tickets can be purchased HERE

CUP DATE CONFIRMED

We will travel to Dartford in the second round of the Kent Senior Cup.

The match will be played at Princes Park on March 8th at 7.45pm.

We are still waiting for Dartford, the cup holders, to confirm ticket details

 

 

DEFENDER JOINS WHITES

Manager Andy Hessenthaler has added to his defensive options after completing the signing of former Leyton Orient defender Myles Judd on a non-contract basis.

The 22-year-old right-back, who will wear the number 30 shirt for us, made 66 appearances in all competitions for the O’s.

A member of the O’s team that won promotion from the National League in the 2018-19 season, Judd also played nine games while on loan at Barnet last season.

Judd came through the junior ranks at the East London Club and signed his professional deal with them in 2015.

At the end of the 2016/17 season, he won the LFE Apprentice of the Year for League Two, he played an integral part for his side that season, making 20 appearances in Sky Bet League Two.

ACADEMY DUO SIGN ON

Dover Athletic is proud to announce that two of our Academy youngsters have signed with the club.

Midfielders George Wilkinson and Luke Baptiste have already played for Andy Hessenthaler’s side this season, both coming on as second-half substitutes in the FA Trophy defeat against Bromley at Crabble last month.

George, who will wear the 28 shirt, is 17 while Luke, who is 18, will have the number 29 on his back.
