*BS*DOVER’S premium venue – the Centre Spot – is offering Whites fans a super new matchday deal – plus will be staging an official opening and meet-the-manager evening.

*BF*The plush new Centre Spot complex, which was built during the summer, will be officially opened by the right worshipful town mayor of Dover, Diane Smallwood, on Wednesday October 1 at 6.30pm.

This great occasion will be followed by a meet-the-manager evening, starting at 7.30pm, where Andy Hessenthaler, his assistant Darren Hare and chairman Jim Parmenter will be available to answer questions from supporters.

After the one-hour session is over, the new Centre Spot will be providing supporters with a free buffet – where you can also mingle with Dover Athletic team management and directors.

But – that is not all – from Tuesday, September 23, prior to our home match with Ramsgate, the Centre Spot, from 6pm, will be offering our fans a hot meal and a pint of Fosters for a credit-crunch-busting £5.99. This offer is open until 7.15pm, half hour before kick-off. On Saturday and Bank Holiday matchdays, this deal is available from 1pm until 2.30pm.

Chairman Jim Parmenter said: “The new Centre Spot is the premium venue in Dover and we hope supporters will get behind our events – and come and meet their fellow fans in our new facility.

“There will be a number of deals being introduced to reward our fans for using our bar prior to matches. Money spent in the Centre Spot will enable the club to generate more income so we can make continued improvements to our playing squad.”
