PREVIEW: WHITES V BARNET

Dover will be aiming to end a three-game losing run when Barnet visit Crabble this Saturday.

A heavy defeat at Fylde, followed by two losses over the Bank Holiday weekend to Eastleigh and Leyton Orient, have left Chris Kinnear’s men in 22nd spot on the National League ladder and three points from safety.

The Bee’s, managed by John Still, fared better last week, beating both Chesterfield and Barnet to lift themselves up to 17th in the table, four points ahead of Dover.

BARNET PLAYER TO WATCH

Charlee Adams is the engine room in the Barnet midfield, playing every game so far this campaign and chipping in with one goal.

TOP SCORERS

Jamie Allen leads the way with three goals for Dover and five different players have notched just the once for Barnet so far.

DEFENDER MAKES MOVE TO CRABBLE

Boss Chris Kinnear has added to his defensive options with the loan signing of left-back George Smith from fellow National League club Chesterfield.

The 22-year-old joined the Spireites from Northampton Town for an undisclosed fee in January.

Smith started his career at Barnsley and made 44 appearances for the Tykes, including 25 as they won promotion to the Championship in 2015-16

After leaving Barnsley, he made 38 appearances for Gateshead before signing for Northampton.

He made eight starts and two substitute appearances for the Cobblers.

Smith will wear the number 20 shirt at Crabble.

Welcome George!!

BURNLEY STRIKER JOINS ON LOAN

We are delighted to announce the loan signing of striker Ntumba Massanka from Premier League club Burnley.

Massanka, 21, who will be with us until January, is no stranger to playing in the National League, scoring six times in 41 appearances for Wrexham during two loan spells with the Welsh side.

He spent the second half of last season with the Red Dragons, scoring four times in 18 appearances.

Massanka was spotted by Manchester United as a schoolboy and spent six years there before moving to Manchester City and later signing professional terms with Burnley in 2015.

Our new number 17 has also spent time out on loan at both York City and Morecambe

Welcome to Crabble Ntumba!!
