Dover Athletic are now able to confirm details of the pre-season fixtures we currently have arranged, which begin on 9th July. The visit of Football League sides AFC Wimbledon and Leyton Orient are the highlights, with matches at three lower division sides also announced.

Chris Kinnear’s side will start their pre-season schedule with a home clash against Ryman Premier League side *BS*BILLERICAY TOWN*BF* on Saturday July 9th, with five fixtures currently announced – and more being planned.

Whites will welcome two Football League sides to Crabble, starting with League One side *BS*AFC WIMBLEDON*BF* on Tuesday July 12th. Neal Ardley’s men won promotion from League Two in the 2015/16 season through the playoffs. Whites’ assistant manager Jake Leberl made 68 starts for the Wombles in two seasons at the club.

On Saturday July 16th, we welcome *BS*LEYTON ORIENT*BF* to Crabble. The O’s finished 8th in League Two in the 2015/16 season, and have former Dover midfielder Sammy Moore in their squad. They are managed by Andy Hessenthaler, who won back-to-back titles with Dover in a spell as manager which ended in 2010.

Whites will then travel away to National League South sides *BS*WELLING UNITED*BF* and *BS*CHELMSFORD CITY*BF* on Tuesday July 26th and Saturday July 30th respectively.

Further pre-season fixtures will be announced when confirmed.

The club are delighted to be welcoming two Football League sides to Crabble as part of our pre-season campaign, which kicks off in just over three weeks time.

Admission for the match against Billericay Town will be just £5 for all (except for under 11’s, who enter free of charge). Admission for the home matches against AFC Wimbledon and Leyton Orient is at the standard admission prices, due to the additional costs involved in covering the opposition club’s expenses for these fixtures.

And remember, season ticket holders will enter all friendlies for FREE – and there’s just six days left to get your season ticket at the early bird price! No alcohol will be permitted on our vehicles at any time (which means not just drinking alcohol but also taking it on the coach).
Any damage caused will be charged to the Supporters Club.
Any abnormal or excessive cleaning will result in a £50 fine payable by the Supporters Club.
No excessively rowdy behavior will be tolerated.

The Coach company runs a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY if any of the above restrictions are breached and any individual found to be flaunting the rules, they will be removed from the coach immediately, irrespective of the location of the vehicle.

It is obviously in everyone’s interest and to encourage people who are understandably wary about using the coach, that behavior is kept within the bounds of common sense.
