WALLIS LOAN EXTENDED
*BS*JON WALLIS has extended his loan spell at Dover from Hereford for another month.
*BF*Wallis – who can play in a number of positions in midfield and defence – has impressed since he joined from the League Two club last month.
Bulls boss Graham Turner has given his blessing for the player to stay at Crabble for another month to help Whites continue their excellent form at the top of Ryman One South.
Wallis said: “I am enjoying myself at Dover Athletic. It’s nice to be getting some games under my belt – because I wasn’t getting much football at Hereford.
“I plan to return to Hereford in the New Year and try to impress enough to get back into the team. I am desperate to stay a professional football, because it’s a great living.
“It’s great to stay here for another month and be around my family and girlfriend, who all live in Kent, and help Clive Walker and the boys out in the meantime.”

CLUB STATEMENT
*BS*DOVER ATHLETIC would like to clarify the situation about the complaint being lodged to the Ryman League about Saturday’s game against Maidstone at Sittingbourne.
*BF*There have been a number of comments on various media about this – which are misleading.
The club is making a complaint to the league about safety issues that we felt the referee did not take into consideration during the second half.
Conditions were just about playable from the start but during the second half one floodlight only produced one bulb of light, which made one area of the pitch dark.
In our opinion, the poorly-lit area, combined with the poor playing surface, was unsafe – and this was illustrated when Craig Cloke was injured in that very area of the field.
Dover Athletic are NOT making any complaint about Sittingbourne FC or Maidstone. The issue is only with the referee’s decision not to call the game off for safety reasons, when both clubs requested it.
Wild comments about Dover Athletic reporting fellow clubs to the league or not being happy with the 0-0 draw is nonsense.
