Everyone at Dover Athletic is deeply saddened by the news our long-serving head gateman, Keith Hughes, has passed away following a brave battle against cancer at the age of 79.

Keith, the father of our Facilities Manager Gavin, was a respected, popular, and familiar figure around Crabble for 55 years and he displayed exceptional commitment to the Club he loved so greatly during that time.

Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with Keith’s family and friends at this very sad and difficult time.
