Match preview by Fred Deveson
Dover are once again on the road this weekend as they travel to south west London to face Hampton and Richmond Borough, as the Whites look to make it 3 unbeaten.
The hosts this weekend are currently sat in 7th in the league this season after a good campaign sees them pushing for the playoff places with the likes of Aveley and Farnborough catching them.
Hampton have failed to win any of their last six games, losing three and drawing three, with the most recent game being a defeat to Bath at home.
In the reverse fixture this season, Hampton and Richmond came out on top against the Whites, securing a narrow 0-1 at Crabble. But since then, a lot has changed. The Whites have had a change in manager and star player Anifowose made the switch from Dover to the London based team.
A win for the hosts would be invaluable for them in their push for playoffs, so they have it all to play for against the Whites this weekend.
As for Dover, they will be looking to end the season in a positive way and continue this run that they are on at the moment. This will be the first time since Christmas that they go unbeaten in three, should they avoid defeat at the weekend.
There have been some much improved performances from Dover of late, with the defence stiffening up and the attack being more clinical of late. The Whites aren’t going down without a fight.
There are only three games of this season left for the Whites, who will be looking to get positive results to take into the next season in the league below.
