UP NEXT – WELLING UNITED

A vital clash up next for the Whites.

Welling United are up next for the Whites as the Wings head to the Megger Community Stadium for a game that is already being billed as a six-pointer, even at this early stage of the season.

Mitch Brundle will be hoping for a similar performance from the Hampton & Richmond game, except for a positive result this time to come with it. Welling sit just one place above us but are unbeaten in their last three league games coming into this fixture with three draws.

Massive improvements. I thought we were really good going forward but we have been done by a sucker punch. We were the better team, specially in the first half. – Mitch Brundle

While the league table doesn’t lie, Saturday was another case of a visiting manager telling us we had been their toughest game of the campaign and while that doesn’t put any points on our board, it shows with a little bit of luck, we can turn those nearly moments into wins. We have an important run coming up but can only focus our efforts one game at a time.
