You see, both sides currently occupy two of the bottom four spaces on the National League ladder with Athletic sitting in 21st place, two points and two places ahead of the Stones.
Dover boss Andy Hessenthaler will be aiming to extend his side’s home winning run to four National League matches against a team that have lost four consecutive matches in the league.

Boss Andy Hessenthaler has his say following Whites’ 2-0 defeat away to Barnet on Saturday.
Whites are live on BT this Saturday lunchtime when they travel to London this weekend.
It’s a good time for Whites’ to face the TV cameras with Andy Hessenthaler’s men unbeaten in four National League matches.
Athletic will also look to the Bees’ current home form as the hosts have lost three consecutive league matches at the Hive, losing to Salford (1-3), Maidstone (0-2) and Gateshead (1-2).
A couple of Dover’s squad will recognise their surroundings on Saturday.
Midfielder Stuart Lewis and Alfie Pavey have both played for Barnet. Lewis made four appearances in 2007 and Pavey featured three times during a loan spell in 2014.

Tuesday night’s Buildbase FA Trophy first round replay away to fellow National League side Havant & Waterlooville is off after the pitch failed a pitch inspection.
The game will now be played on Tuesday January 8th.
Should we beat Havant & Waterlooville in Tuesday night’s replay, Dover will host fellow National League side Harrogate Town in the Buildbase FA Trophy second round.
The tie is scheduled to take place during the weekend of Saturday 12th January.
