QUIZ NIGHT

MEDIA VOLUNTEERS

*BS*Dover Athletic are looking for volunteers to provide help to the club’s media output, primarily with our matchday magazine and on our social media channels.*BF*

We are looking to further extend our media offering for the 2016/17 season, and are keen to hear from supporters who feel they could contribute to this.

Opportunities are available in a number of areas – for our matchday magazine, you would be expected to assist with writing articles, updating statistics and conducting interviews, whilst for our social media output you would be needed to update news as and when required, and generally help to raise the profile of the club online.

In addition, we are looking into increasing our video output online, and are keen to hear from supporters who feel they have strengths in this area.

These positions contribute to what we put in front of our supporters, so a high degree of trust and professionalism is required and you will also need to have a strong grasp of the English language.

If you are interested, please e-mail jack.osullivan@doverathletic.com, including any information or skills that may make you stand out from the crowd.

Successful applicants will be invited along to further discuss the role prior to one of the club’s pre-season friendlies in the coming weeks.

QUIZ NIGHT

WHITES CLAIM KINGSLEY COUP

*BS*Dover Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Kingsley James, who arrives from FC Halifax Town for an undisclosed fee. The 24-year-old midfielder, formerly of Sheffield United and Port Vale, is an England C international and made 57 appearances for Town last season.*BF*

Chris Kinnear has pulled off a major signing in Kingsley, who is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders outside of the Football League.

James began his career at Sheffield United, joining at the age of ten years old – and went on to captain the likes of Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker in the youth team at Bramall Lane. He made his first-team debut in the League Cup in 2010, before making the switch to Port Vale the following year.

There, he made 11 appearances in League Two before signing for Hereford United, and then Chester – before turning down a two-year deal with Steve Burr’s side to sign for FC Halifax Town.

In the 2016/17 season, he scored 11 goals in 57 appearances and consistently impressed despite his side suffering relegation from the Vanarama National League.

James has won 3 caps for the England C side, and scored on his debut for the national side against Estonia in 2014.

We are delighted to welcome Kingsley to Crabble and wish him every success during his time at the club.
