FORWARD MAKES CRABBLE EXIT

Dover Athletic can confirm that former West Ham United forward Djair Parfitt-Williams has left the club.

The 25-year-old made 10 appearances in all competitions for Andy Hessenthaler’s side after arriving on a non-contract basis in February.

We would like to thank Djair for his efforts whilst with us and wish him the very best of luck in the future.

VIDEO: MANAGER REACTION

Andy Hessenthaler spoke to BBC Radio Kent after the 3-2 National League defeat at Chesterfield on Saturday.

Kings Lynn Town loanee Michael Gyasi put Dover ahead in the 14th minute with his fifth goal since joining us before Saidou Khan equalised 10 minutes later.

Captain Jake Goodman made it 2-1 to Whites with nine minutes left on the clock before the hosts equalised a minute later when Khan beat goalkeeper Alexis Andre Jr at his near post.

Play-off chasing Chesterfield secured all three points with five minutes remaining when Jeff King curled home from just inside the area.

MATCH PREVIEW: CHESTERFIELD VS DOVER

Andy Hessenthaler’s side is in action in Derbyshire on Saturday against play-off chasing Chesterfield.

The 31-year-old defender joined the club from Hereford last summer.

Grimes scored five goals in 80 appearances during his time at Crabble after arriving from Kidderminster Harriers in 2015.
