Rich has more than a decade of experience as a Chief Scout and officially joined Dover Athletic during the early weeks of last season having assisted the club with recruitment that summer. He was previously a scout for England C, led by manager Paul Fairclough, and has represented clubs from the Essex Senior League up to the National League with a particular focus on opposition analysis. He spent five years with Bowers & Pitsea FC during the most successful period in the club’s history which saw them promoted to the Isthmian Premier in 2019 and reach The FA Cup First Round Proper in 2021 under the guidance of manager Rob Small. Rich works closely with Jake, Mike and the coaching staff to plan the best tactical approach for upcoming matches and splits his time between being on the road watching opposition and in the dug-out for the Whites. He has also played a significant role in the club launching its official partnership with Chislehurst Glebe FC.
