*BS*Dover Athletic were well beaten by an excellent Barnet, with Martin Allen’s side returning to the Vanarama Conference Premier summit.*BF*

Luisma Villa’s goal coupled with Luke Gambin’s brace secured the visitors’ seventh victory of the season as they made a big intent for the title.

However, Whites were not disgraced in front of the BT Sport cameras, with substitutes Ricky Miller and Christian Nanetti both hitting the bar in injury time.

The result means Barnet top the table with 21 points and two above FC Halifax Town – who were temporarily top – while Dover fall three places to 19th.

*Q1*Chris Kinnear spoke to doverathletic.com after his side’s 3-0 loss: “There is no doubt the quality they (Barnet) have got.

“We could have gone in front and Stefan (Payne) had a good chance to equalise as well. We also hit the bar a couple of times. It was just disappointing really, but we have to move on.”
