PREVIEW: LEYTON ORIENT V WHITES

Dover travel to Leyton Orient on Bank Holiday Monday aiming to return to winning ways following back-to-back defeats in the National League.

And that will be a tough ask against an Orient side currently unbeaten in their first six league matches.

Justin Edinburgh’s men have won two and drawn four games so far this campaign.

It will also be familiar surroundings for one of the Dover squad.

Defender Connor Essam played 24 games for the O’s during the 2015/16 season.

WHAT THE GAFFER SAYS

DOVER BOSS CHRIS KINNEAR

“They are a big club, but it doesn’t mean we are going to be frightened.  We are going there to do the best we can and I’m sure we will do.  We have just got to make sure we stop giving silly goals away.”

TOP SCORERS

Macauley Bonne and Jamie Allen both lead the way for their respective sides with three goals each.
