Match Preview by Fred Deveson
This Saturday, the Whites are back on the road as they head to Hemel Hempstead in search of back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
Dover might be fancying their chances this weekend as they are coming off the back of a fantastic win against promotion chasing Chelmsford. The hosts this weekend are also on a bad run of form lately, which will encourage the Whites even more.
Hemel Hempstead’s last win was on the 23rd January when they came out on top against Farnborough, but since then their form has dipped massively.
The Hertfordshire based side have lost eight of their last nine games, drawing the other to Dartford, which puts them in a spot of bother going into the final few matches.
They recently lost to Aveley at home 3-4, with an early goal from Aveley circulating social media due to the nature of it, as it was poor defending from Hemel that allowed the visitors to score within the first few seconds of the game.
Earlier on in the season, the same fixture at Crabble ended in a 2-2 draw, with goals from Dembele and Zidan Sutherland as Dover lost out on all 3 points thanks to an Alfie Matthews equaliser in the dying seconds.
The Whites will be hoping to go one step further this weekend and beat the team on a poor run of form to make it two wins from two.
