Jack Bates has joined the Whites ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The midfielder began his career with East Sussex College’s full-time education programme and represented both England Colleges and England Schoolboys before joining Derby County shortly after his 18th birthday in 2022.

Jack featured for Derby’s U21 side and gained senior experience during a loan spell with Bath City before signing for Worthing in 2024. He later joined Enfield Town, initially on loan before making the move permanent, and most recently featured for Horsham in National League South.
