Boss Andy Hessenthaler has his say following Whites’ 1-0 defeat away to Maidenhead United on Saturday.
The battle to avoid the drop heats up on Saturday as Athletic travel to Berkshire to face the Magpies.
Both sides will have been bouyed by impressive wins at promotion-chasing sides a week ago.
Alan Devonshire’s men won 1-0 at Leyton Orient while Athletic were 3-1 victors at ambitious Salford City.
Maidenhead now sit 18th on the National League ladder, three points above the relegation trapdoor and just a single point ahead of 20th placed Dover.
Boss Andy Hessenthaler will want Whites’ to continue their strong away league form, having seen his side win three and draw once in their last four National League matches on the road.
The Magpies will be desperate to improve their recent home form, having accrued seven points from their last 10 matches at York Road, though they were winners in their last home match – a 1-0 triumph over Boreham Wood on February 9th to make it make it back-to-back league wins.

Dover Athletic are delighted to announce that Millwall defender Danny McNamara’s loan spell has been extended until March 23rd.
The 20-year-old right-back arrived from the Championship side on January 23rd and made his debut in National League clash at Havant & Waterlooville.
He has played three games since then and scored his first goal at senior level in the 3-1 win at Salford City last Saturday.

Gaffer Andy Hessenthaler has his say following Athletic’s 3-1 win away at Salford on Saturday.
Whites travel to Lancashire on Saturday for a first ever visit to the Peninsula Stadium.
Dover boss Andy Hessenthaler will be aiming to get his team back to winning ways after seeing Athletic slip back into the bottom four on goal difference following last Saturday’s last-minute home defeat to Harrogate Town.
It’s now four league games without victory for Dover but Salford are also on their own winless run in the National League.
Draws with Halifax and Gateshead were followed by a surprise loss at bottom-of-the-table Braintree Town last week, which saw Graham Alexander’s men drop to fifth spot in the league table, six points off leaders Solihull Moors, but with a game in hand on the current leaders.
