Kevin Lokko

Club captain Kevin Lokko made the move to Crabble from Stevenage a permanent one after signing a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee in June 2018.

The former Norwich, Colchester and Welling man played in 41 National League games for Maidstone United before joining Stevenage for an undisclosed fee in August 2017.

The defender then joined Dagenham and Redbridge on loan, making 25 National League appearances, including one against Whites in November, before being recalled by his parent club in February.

Lokko, an England C international, who can operate both at centre-back and left-back, made 12 appearances for Dover from February to April while on loan at Crabble from the League Two club during the 2017/18 campaign.

The centre-back scored one goal in that time with us, in the 2-0 win at Chester in March and continued his goalscoring form for Athletic the following season, netting six times in 39 league games.

The 23-year-old also picked up two awards last campaign, winning the National League Player of the Month for January and the Players Player of the season.

Chike Kandi

Former Dagenham & Redbridge, Aldershot Town, and Dulwich Hamlet frontman, who signed after impressing in pre-season.

He made over 100 appearances in all competitions in three seasons with the Daggers, including 78 in the National League, before joining Aldershot ahead of the 20/21 season.

Kandi, who came up through the youth ranks at Chelsea and Brighton, made 35 National League appearances during his time with the Shots before he made the move to Dulwich Hamlet last season, where he made 32 appearances for the National League South team.

Alfie Pavey

Forward who made the move to Crabble a permanent one last June after leaving National League South champions Maidstone United.

He made 18 appearances for Andy Hessenthaler’s team while on loan from Maidstone last season after making his debut in the 1-1 draw against Yeovil Town at Huish Park in November.

He scored six goals in his time with us, with his final one coming in the 6-5 defeat at Wrexham.

The frontman is no stranger to Dover supporters after he scored 12 goals in 38 appearances for us in his previous spell at Crabble after arriving from Havant & Waterlooville in November 2018.

He left Dover to sign for Barnet for an undisclosed fee in September 2019 before joining Maidstone in June 2021.

After spending his youth career with Maidstone, where he scored 300 goals in three years for the Stones’ academy and youth sides, Pavey earned a move to Championship side Millwall.

In his three years with the Lions, Pavey, had loan spells with Barnet, Bromley, Aldershot, Hampton and Richmond, and Dartford.

Following a brief spell with Welling United, Pavey returned to Dartford, scoring 28 goals in 38 matches and winning the National League South Player of the Season award.

He then joined promoted Havant & Waterlooville and scored four times in 19 appearances before making the move to Crabble.

Kurtis Cumberbatch

Midfielder Cumberbatch joined Dover in July 2019 having spent the previous season with Southern Premier Division South side Farnborough FC where he scored 11 league goals for the Yellows.

Having spent his youth career with Tottenham Hotspur, Watford and Charlton Athletic, Cumberbatch moved to Hadley Town of the Spartan South Midlands Football League in the summer of 2015, before moving to then-National League side Welling United three months later.

Kurtis next signed for Bostik Premier club Harrow Borough in December 2016 and netted 14 times, before moving to Farnborough in July 2017.

 

Bilel Hinchiri

Frenchman Bilel joined Dover in July 2019 following a successful trial spell.

The midfielder spent his youth career with Boulogne Billancourt and Parisienne ESP, before spending time at the Lazola FC academy.

Following a trial in England with Queens Park Rangers, Hinchiri moved back to France for two years, signing for Bourgogne Franche in 2017 and then spending last season with fourth division side Charitois.

Bobby-Joe Taylor

A winger who signed for Dover following his release from Bromley in November 2018, Taylor initially signed on loan from Bromley for one month in October before making the move a permanent one the following month.

The former Chelsea and Gillingham youngster joined the Ravens from Aldershot Town last May and has made 12 appearances for Bromley last season, including one against Dover in the 2-2 draw at Hayes Lane in August.

Taylor has also represented England C twice and played 25 games for Aldershot after arriving from Maidstone United in June 2017.

The attacking midfielder spent two years at the Gallagher Stadium after joining from Cambridge United in July 2015 and made 42 appearances.

The 24-year-old, who can also operate at left-back, signed a new two-year contract with Athletic after making 29 appearances for Andy Hessenthaler’s side last season.
