*BS*Dover Athletic won their FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round Replay against Vanarama Conference South side Eastbourne Borough to secure their place in the first round for the second season in succession.*BF*
Midfielder Nick Deverdics’ first half header – his first competitive goal for the club – was enough to claim a narrow victory over their Sussex counterparts to set up a home tie against League Two side Morecambe at Crabble on either 7, 8, 9 or 10 November.
Whites are one of 32 non-league clubs to play in the first round – where League One and League Two teams come in – and will make their fourth appearance in the proper rounds of one of the most famous competitions in the world.
Dover have previously qualified for the FA Cup in *Link1*, *Link2* and *Link3*, and enjoyed their greatest run in 2010/11 when they reached the third round of the competition after recording famous victories over Gillingham and Aldershot Town.

*BS*Chris Kinnear has today added midfielder/striker Greg Rutherford to his squad. The ex-Hartlepool United man is available for selection for tomorrow’s FA Cup clash away at Eastbourne Borough.*BF*
Rutherford was born in North Shields, and started his career in the youth team of Hartlepool United on a two-year scholarship in the summer of 2010.
In April 2012, Rutherford was offered his first professional contract and made his professional debut in a 2–1 defeat to Chesterfield, coming on as a late substitute.
He signed a short-term deal in the summer of 2012 which was later extended in early January 2013.
Rutherford scored his first ever professional goal after only being on the pitch for 90 seconds in a 3-1 away win against Portsmouth and totalled nine appearances for the senior side before being released at the end of last season.
He trialled with league rivals Bristol Rovers in pre-season after re-locating south.
